Tan Care

Spray tans typically last anywhere between 5-7 days but by correctly preparing your skin for your appointment, you will get a longer lasting tan with gorgeous results. Your spray tan can last up to 10 days if you follow the tan preparation tips. SEE Before and After care instructions.

Exfoliate: Be sure to exfoliate with a loofah or an exfoliating body wash before your appointment. This will help remove dead skin cells, which helps extend the lifetime of your tan. Do not apply moisturizers to areas that you want the solution to tan.

Hair Removal: Any waxing, shaving, or threading should be done before your appointment, ideally 24 hours before to give your pores time to close prior to your tanning application.

Beauty: Do not apply any moisturizer, deodorants, or perfume on the day of your spray tan. If you are getting your face sprayed please remove your makeup.

Clothing: it is best to wear black since the spray solution may rub off on your clothes. Our solution is organic and will wash out of your clothes.

Undergarments: You can strip down or cover up depending on your comfort level. Bras, thongs, briefs, and bathing suits are all great examples of how to cover up if you are not going nude. If you are going nude do not put your bra back on.

Gentlemen: please be aware that your “goods” MUST be covered. We will not spray you nude, sorry!

Footwear: Please wear some sort of slip-on or sandals.

• Know your solution setting time. After that time, you may shower
• Do NOT moisturize, exercise or swim until after your first shower
• Take cooler showers (hot water strips the body of its natural oils causing skin to dry out)
• Wash with sulfate-free body wash (sulfate strips sunless color)
• Do NOT exfoliate for at least 48 hours after application
• Wear dark, loose fitting clothing
